This is a great series from Robin Lee Hatcher. Her most recent book Betrayal just recently released. Zondervan has provided both of these book for me to review in exchange for my opinion, and has also graciously provided both for a giveaway! (Be sure to enter at the end of this post)

This new novel, will capture your heart.
Julia Grace has no desire to enter into another marriage. But with her dead husband's half brother threatening to take away her Wyoming ranch. Julia realizes marriage may be the only way to keep what is rightfully hers. A man well acquainted with betrayal, drifter Hugh Brennan finds himself drawn to the attractive widow. Yet, when he looks into Julia's eyes, he recognizes the same hurt that haunts him.  Betrayal will take you to the high desert of western Wyoming, through the crags of the Rocky Mountains, and into the souls of two seekers learning to trust God's love no matter the circumstances.

In the high desert town of Frenchman's Bluff, Idaho, Felicia Kristoffersen has set out to create a future for herself that is better than her painful past. Alone in the world with only her faith to sustain her, she must prove herself as this tiny community's new school teacher. She cannot, must not, fail. But there are those who never wanted her there to begin with.  Five years after the death of his wife, local merchant Colin Murphy cares about just one thing: raising his daughter, Charity. Colin wants to give her the educational advantages he never had. The new schoolmarm's inexperience doesn't sit well with him, and if this teacher up and marries like the last one did, Charity's heart will be broken once again. A woman who hasn't known love. A man who lost the love he had. In the midst of the wide, sage-covered plains, each is about to discover that life's bitterest circumstances truly can work together for good.

My thoughts:
I love stories based back in the prairie days with the one room school houses, and a different life than we live now.  But the fact that God works now just as He did then hasn't changed.   This is an inspiring series of love and faith. A test to God's goodness and grace, and the ability to forgive.  I am sure readers will be able to relate to some aspect of these stories and thoroughly enjoy both of these books.

It also gives clear instructions on what to do if they are approached in an unwanted manner. The questions at the end of the book provides an easy transition for counselors and parents to open a discussion to prevent abuse or to further explore if abuse has occurred.

A Challenging Perspective on Hospitality

This book! Wow! What can I say? It's radical, convicting, and pushes you to live completely out of your comfort zone for the sake of the GOSPEL! Rosaria's personal story is a story of Grace - God's grace and a life transformed by the Gospel. She inspires us to practice true hospitality like the Bible commands. She talks about the importance of hospitality, how to use hospitality to share Jesus and the Gospel, and how our lives and those of others should be changed by it. She invites us to reach out, invite in, and love people of all different backgrounds, even those who don't particularly agree with us in lifestyle or otherwise. She propels us to love the sinner, while not condoning the sin. Hospitality - open arms, open table, a welcome to all.  I wish I could put into words how this book inspired me to take a good look at my own life and how I practice hospitality. It made me re-evaluate what I might think hospitality looks like and how to apply it to real life in c
