The Truth - Virtual Blog Tour

Epic romance, global adventure, ethnic passion, and Christian values inspire this new series. From the beauty of South Dakota’s Black Hills, to the breathtaking shores of Como Lake, Italy, follow the Christ-loving lives of the Casellis. Learn with them, grow with them, be inspired by them.

In this world there are men of two kinds. The one, the knight, is the man possessing only strength and quality of moral character. He will never ask a lady to compromise her honor for less than a vow, and never, ever will he consider another once he has captured her heart. A knight keeps his vow, even when it hurts…But a blackguard is a man who…attempts to trick the young ladies into taking him home and caring for him, making them believe their honor can be given away as a mere trifle…The blackguard is to be avoided at all costs, for to settle for someone like him, is to settle for something less than ideal…”

My Thoughts on the book:
I had never read or even heard of this author before. But I have enjoyed this book. There is quite a cast of characters and this is book number five, so it takes a little while to get into the story and follow along. But I love the principles that are taught of values and moral ethics. It is good clean fiction. One part I enjoyed immensely was when some of the children in the Caselli family are teaching younger male siblings the importance of treating a lady like a lady, no matter whether she recognizes she is a lady or not.  That is certainly a concept quite lost to our younger generation. The deeper I got into the book, the more I liked it! The story gets more and more intriguing. I thought the print in the book a bit tiny, but that was not a major problem for me, although it might be for some. I am looking forward to possibly reading a few other books in this series to get the story from the beginning, but once you catch on, it can stand alone.

Loving all things Italian, Ta`Mara created the Caselli family true to their ethnic name. Born and raised in South Dakota, she brings this traditional family alive on the Great Plains where she has spent the entirety of her life.

Author Interview:
Could you please tell us a little about your book?
Guiseppi Caselli is the world's greatest “Papa”, and family leader. But he makes this one really bad decision and it affects the lives of two of his children--though neither of them know it! Guiseppi sees that his daughter's life is NOT what it would have been, but what he DOESN'T see is that the same decision that's changed his daughter's life, has also effected the life of his son, Marquette. Now, Marquette is a world renowned private investigator who has spent the bulk of his career chasing a Mafia family throughout the globe. Gusieppi's decision derails Marquette's life-long work, and it takes twenty-three years to straighten out the mess. This series is filled with romance, Christian values, ethnic passion and global adventure. Whoever starts reading it cannot put it down until they’ve finished the first 5 novels—which are the only ones out right now. Book 6 will not release until December, 2014.

Congratulations to our Winner - Lynne In  Night Night , Farm by Amy Parker, parents and little ones will unwind as sweet farm animals in pj's say goodnight to their farm, their mommies and daddies, and to God. Rhyming verse, calming artwork, and whimsical renditions of favorite farm animals in their cozy beds will make this bedtime book a favorite for years to come. My Thoughts: This book is so adorable. I am already loving that one day I will be able to use it with my grandchildren. It is a hard back padded type cover. The pages are board book style with beautiful illustrations, brightly colored and full of the most adorable farm animals you've ever seen. They will capture your heart, as well as you child's.  Each page consists of a different animal going to sleep, written in poetic style with the animal sound and name of the animal at then end of each prose. The last page affirms how God made all these animals and "me too"! The child will learn about
