Monday Updates and Winner Announcement

The past week was busy as a bee with VBS going on and I did not get to blog much at all. But I do thankfully have some books finished so this week hopefully will be able to get some of my reviews posted.
We had an average of 143 attend our VBS and I am so thankful for all those precious children. The ones in my class came faithfully every night. They were attentive and fun to be with. I am praying the seed planted in their hearts will sprout and grow.

Here's a little glimpse of the work that went into our classroom. I love everything about VBS - the decorating, the teaching, and seeing the kids faces when they walk in the room. It is so exciting.
Of course I couldn't do it without my helpers. They keep things running smoothly all night.

The winner of the GIVEAWAY for
 is Angela Saver!!
Congratulations Angela! I am sending you an email today.

Don't miss the books that are up for review this week! Thanks for your patience with me this summer as I have been a little slack on my blogging duties. I was planning on taking a summer sabbatical, but that just didn't work out and I was not able to get all my books read before summer hit. But it is more difficult for me to keep a schedule in the summer with the kids out of school and all the things we are trying to accomplish.
I am so blessed to be able to read and blog and be at home with my family. My goal is that they always come first. These years with my children are years that I will never get back.
