THE GARDEN
Grammy nominated Kari Jobe is the premiere female worship leader in Christian music. Coming off her last live album, Majestic, which featured the worship anthem “Forever” and radio hit “I Am Not Alone," Kari Jobe has returned to the studio to record her new album, The Garden, full of brand new worship anthems for the church and for personal reflection. Finding inspiration from life’s joys and hardships, Kari leans into the firm foundation of Christ through it all.

My Take:
I have really enjoyed listening to this CD. I have always liked Kari Jobe and this album is no exception. She is a wonderful worship artist. These songs are soothing to the soul. The lyrics are uplifting and exalt the Heavenly Father, as well, as cultivate a heart of surrender and submission. I enjoyed listening to these songs in the mornings as I tuned my heart into God for the day. Many of them are like a prayer from the soul to God.

The CD is an hour and fifteen minutes long. One of my favorites is the song, Heal Our Land. Its a beautiful prayer sung from the heart. Kari's vocals are amazing, and encourage the listener to just praise the Lord and worship Him for Who He is. It's deep and meaningful and reflective.

I will be listening to this one for a long time!

I was so privileged to receive a free copy of this from FlyBy Publishing to review. All opinions are my own.

Rhyming verse, calming artwork, and whimsical renditions of favorite farm animals in their cozy beds will make this bedtime book a favorite for years to come. My Thoughts: This book is so adorable. I am already loving that one day I will be able to use it with my grandchildren. It is a hard back padded type cover. The pages are board book style with beautiful illustrations, brightly colored and full of the most adorable farm animals you've ever seen. They will capture your heart, as well as you child's.  Each page consists of a different animal going to sleep, written in poetic style with the animal sound and name of the animal at then end of each prose. The last page affirms how God made all these animals and "me too"! The child will learn about

My Body's Mine by Kayla Marnach

My Body's Mine helps children learn they have the rights to their body. Told through rhyme from a child's point of view this book on boundaries empowers each child to say no when others approach them in ways that make them uncomfortable. It also gives clear instructions on what to do if they are approached in an unwanted manner. The questions at the end of the book provides an easy transition for counselors and parents to open a discussion to prevent abuse or to further explore if abuse has occurred.
