Abducted

Officer Carly Edwards life finally seems to be taking a turn for the better. She is back on patrol with her partner, Joe; working on reconciling with her ex-husband Nick; and things seem to be falling in place.  Until.... Nick begins pulling away just as they were getting close. Joe's baby is kidnapped when his wife ends up in the hospital with a strange illness. And to top it all off, Carly's roommate and lifetime best friend has had enough of Carly's faith and is ready to find a new home. As Carly tries desperately to find the baby, her faith is tested to the limits. How will it all turn out? You will have to read this book to see!

This book is written by Janice Cantore veteran police officer. It is exciting, thrilling, and adventerous. You will quickly be caught up in the story line and the mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.  The story is full of suspense, very believable and you become a part of it as you read. Carly's faith is challenged and how she relates to the circumstances in her life in regards to trust in God is very well portrayed. I enjoy books in which the character(s) pray as they are faced with real life challenges like we face every day. How they display their faith when it is tested, can be an encouragement to those who read the book.  I am certainly looking forward to more books in this series.

This is the second book, but could also be a stand alone. It does give a bit of background from what must have occured in the first book, but you do not have to read the first one to understand it.

Do you like the action and adventure of police life? You can check out Janice's website HERE for more on her book series and some real life action.
*I received this book from Tyndale for the purpose of my review.*
