Sunday Praise

Psalm 115 Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory because of your love and faithfulness. Why do nations say "Where is their God?" Our God is in the heaven He does whatever pleases Him.

Fall Creek Falls State Park

A couple weeks ago, we enjoyed a fun-filled day at our local State Park .  We were invited by a friend to join her family for a hike, picnic lunch, and play time; with a bonus nature center feature.  Our day was exhausting and amazing! Just being out in the woods seeing God's beautiful creation was so serene.  How can a person not believe in God?  The world He created proclaims Him LOUDLY!  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.  Psalm 90:2

Sunday Praise

Psalm 4:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 3:5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.   I love Scripture. I love how God brings to mind His Word when we need it. After a minor incident that happened last night, while I was sleeping, this morning I am just so thankful for God's protection. For the fact that HE does NOT slumber or sleep, but is watching over us, and our loved ones when we need to rest. God is so good, and I can rest in Him. Psalm 121: 3,4 ... He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. My God is always on alert!

Welcome to Last Chance by Cathleen Armstrong - Revell Tour

Disclosure: This post contains some advertisement links. She's learned you can't count on anyone--but she didn't count on landing in Last Chance. These people are entirely to nice, too accommodating and too interested in her personal life--especially since she's on the run and hoping to slip away unnoticed.

Jesus, Mo, and Cheese Puffs by Lisa Boucher - Blog Tour

But when she wins $40,000 in the lottery, she decides to get one of those “TV doctors” to fix her bad eye. It’s a long way from Indiana to California, so she and Mo, pack along some extra bags of cheese puffs for the trip. Funny thing about life, it doesn’t always follow a plan. Flo and Mo, primed for an adventure, get sidetracked at every turn. For one, there’s the young family with the broken-down car they stop to help only two hours into the trip. Turns out there’s more to the young family than either of them could ever imagine. On to Hooker, Oklahoma, where they stumble into a wake for the town hero—High Henry,
