What Kind of Monsters Live in Your Neighborhood?

Book Review and Giveaway
What does a transformed life really look like?  Are we all just monsters in disguise? Matt Mikalatos takes us to his "neighborhood", in which a variety of monsters live.   He uses these characters, and his sense of humor to write this allegory about a werewolf, Luther, who is seeking transformation.  His inner beast has finally gotten the best of him, his wife has left him, and he is at his last wits end. After attempting to transform himself from werewolf to human by various humanistic and scientific methods, with the help of a mad scientist and a the friendly neighborhood monster patrolman, Matt; he finally realizes that he can never be transformed by his own power or the power of others.  There is only one WAY to be transformed, and live a truly transformed life!

If you have a great sense of humor you will want to read this book.  As a matter of fact, my 16 yr old daughter loved it! We had to take turns reading it. It's comedic and at times serious. But really addressess the reality many of us live or see others around us living.  Are we truly transformed Christians or are we just werewolfs, vampires, or zombies going through the motions.  Have we let Jesus change us from the inside out??
