Are You Proud To Be A Christian?

This book is not for the faint at heart, or those who are looking for the easy road. Some people think, taking the name Christian and joining the family of God is going to ease life for them. They will bask in blessings and never suffer again.  This is completely contrary to what Scripture teaches. If you are a Christian who has experienced ridicule or suffering for the cause of Christ. This book is for YOU!
God calls us to take up our cross and follow Him. To be unashamed to bear His name. Kendall offers encouragement and guidance you need to embrace your faith fully and the stigma that comes with it. Instead of fearing embarrassment and rejection, he shows you how to turn those feelings into sources of unimaginable blessing. You will gain insight into how God wants you to handle the rejection or ridicule for being a Christian and truly living according to His Word.

Having been criticized for my faith many times, I am looking forward to implementing the principles Kendall shares in this book. Instead of seeing the ridicule of others as a means to become bitter or miserable, I want to find joy in suffering for His cause. I have always wondered how Peter and Paul and many other men in the Bible were able to rejoice in their suffering.  How wonderful to be able to do the same. This book is a great guide to achieving that goal.  I have certainly gained much wisdom from the author's perspective. I would personally recommend this book. *I received this book from Bethany House Publishers for the purpose of my review. I am not under any obligation to give a positive review.*

R.T. Kendall book is highly recommended by various well known ministers and authors.
