Nowhere to Run -Book Review

SOMEONE'S OUT THERE...

Police officer Ashley Walters is getting ready to marry her fiance Patrick. But recently she has this strange sense that someone is watching her every move. Is it just her imagination? Too many years of being a cop? Not likely! As the wedding day approaches, so does the danger her and those closest to her are in. The stalker has calculated his move for years. He is well prepared and always a step ahead. Will she be able to protect herself and her loved ones. Her faith in God is on the edge and she has no where else to turn. What now?

My Thoughts:
This book was intense but good. It took me a little while to finish because I read alot before bedtime and could just not read this one for fear of not getting my much needed rest. I have a very active imagination! The author did an amazing job of portraying the challenge we all face in trusting in ourselves verses trusting the Lord. As Ashley struggles with self-reliance and doubts God's ability to take care of her and her family, she learns valuable lessons. The author kept the story hopping from one incident to the next. I just wanted to keep reading to see what the outcome was going to be. I will definitely be sharing and recommending this one. I also enjoyed the authors note at the end of the book, that explained how her life story relates to what she shared in her book. I had never read this author before but will most definitely be looking for another book by her.

Have you ever struggled with taking control of a situation or resting and waiting on the LORD? I know I have many times over.
