This Sunday is Homecoming Sunday at our church. I am so blessed to be part of a congregation where my church is my family! The story takes place right after the Revolutionary War has ended.   Burning sky had been captured by Mohawk Indians as a young girl.   There were so many deaths among the Indians because of war and sickness that she finds herself going back to her New York home 12 years later.   Her parents and grandmother are no longer there.    There are so many questions to be answered.  What happened to her New York family?  Were they even alive?    She finds that the ugliness of war has left many people changed and scarred.
