Stranded by Dani Pettrey - Review

Disclosure: I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my review. The following post contains advertisement.

The Alaskan Courage Series  is one of my favorite series!
Darcy St. James returns to Alaska to join a journalist friend undercover on the trail of a big story. But when Darcy arrives, she finds her friend has disappeared. Troubled by the cruise ship's vague explanation, Darcy uses her cover as a travel reporter to investigate further. The last person Gage McKenna expects to see during this summer aboard a cruise ship leading adventure excursions is
Darcy. And in typical Darcy fashion she is digging up more trouble. He'd love to just forget her- but something won't let him. And he can't help but worry about her as they are heading into more remote regions of Alaska and eventually into foreign waters. Something sinister is going on, and the deeper they push, the more Gage fears they've only discovered the tip of the iceberg.
Available through Bethany House and other online sites or at your local book store.

About the Author:
Dani is fast becoming one of my favorite authors! I enjoy her sense of adventure and the excitement of her books along with the way she incorporates God into them.
Dani Pettrey is a wife, homeschooling mom, and author. She feels blessed to write inspirational romantic suspense because it incorporates so many things she loves--the thrill of adventure, nail biting suspense, the deepening of her characters' faith, and plenty of romance. She and her husband reside in Maryland with their two teenage daughters. Dani's Website is the best! http://www.danipettrey.com/

What Did I Think?
As I mentioned above, I love this series. The author has a unique way of capturing and keeping your attention. This is book three in the series and can be read as a sequel or a stand alone. Personally, I would recommend you read the whole series. Check my reviews on Submerged - Book 1 and Shattered - Book 2 and a Special Giveaway of Shattered. I feel like I know the McKenna family personally! I love their close family relationship. Not all families have that! In this book,  Darcy, a reporter who showed up in Shattered, is on an undercover mission aboard a cruise ship. Her best friend has disappeared and she is determined to locate her. Surprised, but thankful that Gage is also aboard the ship to assist with the excursions, Darcy works on her investigation which gets more dangerous by the day! Darcy's faith will be tested as well as her testimony. Gage, who has no faith, will definitely need some! Will she discover what happened to Abby, or will she disappear herself? You will just have to read to find out!! I highly recommend this fast paced, page turning novel!!
