While she's stalking the truth...
Someone is stalking her.
Cover ArtPsychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve - the disappearance of her father. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point to investigate. But as she works to uncover the truth, someone else will do almost anything to keep her from it.

Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife - a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. Now that his estranged brother is the only family he has left. Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.
Join the chase as Taylor and Nick search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present - and moving into a future they never imagined.

I received this book from Revell blogging program in exchange for my honest opinion. I am not required to give a positive review.
What did I think?
Patricia's novel is a suspense filled, action packed read! I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next to Taylor. And who the next victim would be. Although, I was suspicious of quite a few characters, there were so many twists and turns in this novel, that being sure of the answer was almost impossible. It was definitely worth the read. I felt like I was trying to warn Taylor of her stalkers next move, keep her out of harms way, and rooting for her to find her father. Of course a little romance always brightens up a story and the possibility of something between Taylor and Nick made the story even more interesting. This is the first in the Logan Point Series, and I am eagerly awaiting the release of Book 2 A Promise to Protect, coming this fall!
Available through Revell Publishing February 2014.

Do you enjoy suspense novels? Have you ever read anything by Patricia before? If not, I would love to hear about one of your favorite suspense novel authors.
