So glad you are back for a look at my favorite book - Book 4 of the Caselli Series with Ta'Mara Hanscom this week.
My Thoughts:
This series just gets better and better. As I mentioned above, This is probably my favorite book. Because it is about hope, reward for faithfulness to the Lord, joy that comes in the morning! It is hard to say much about this book without giving away the story. What I can say is that, after years of putting the pieces of her life back together, making things work, suffering in hope of a better tomorrow, Tillie's dreams are finally being fulfilled. God is finally redeeming it - to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; ... that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:3. Tillie followed God's will even when her heart may have wanted to do otherwise, even when others encouraged her to chose her own, and God blesses her for it. His compassions fail not and his mercies are new every morning.
I have to tell you, be sure you get the tissue box out! You're gonna need it. If I cried in any of the books, I cried in this one, (and probably the first one) the most. By now years have gone by and the story has come almost full circle - one more book to go!
Missed the first of the week - You can catch up!

About the Author:
Ta`Mara created the Caselli family true to their ethnic name. Born and raised in South Dakota, she brings this traditional family alive on the Great Plains where she has spent the entirety of her life. It is Ta`Mara’s prayer that, as the readers explore the truths in these volumes, they will come away with a new perspective on love, forgiveness, obedience, and God’s plan for marriage. Ta`Mara makes her home on Reata in the northwestern corner of Iowa. She works fulltime on the Caselli Family Series, and writing Bible studies.
Only one more book left! Come back tomorrow to read my review on the last book in the series. And don't forget to pop in on Saturday for an interview with author Ta'Mara Hanscom and enter the giveaway for a set of her books!
They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
Guiseppi said, “The Lord gave me that verse when you were very small...I was so afraid to become a father again at the age of forty…the boys were big, nearly ready to leave home…I had raised my family…I was so afraid to start over…but one night, as I prayed for strength and wisdom, God led me to that verse and it is what has helped me through so many trying times, because, my Angel, we do hope in the Lord, and now your heart flies like an eagle.
“And just as God comforted His exiled people, telling them that their tears had been enough, He comforts you now and dries your tears of despair — because you have hope in Him…Your tears have been enough, my Angel. Let us rejoice and move on.”
