About Cathy:
A native daughter of the Lone Star State, Cathy loves spinning tales about life in small town Texas. When she’s not weaving stories about the fine folks in Miller’s Creek, you’ll find her rummaging through thrift stores, feeding her reality TV addiction, or up to her elbows in yet another home improvement project in the mountain cabin she shares with her minister husband of over thirty years.

I was blessed with this book in exchange for my unbiased opinion. All opinions are my own and I was not required to give a positive review.

My Thoughts:
I fell in love with this book from page one. It took me about 48 hrs to read, and that amidst my busy schedule. Of course... putting it down was a challenge, but I was picking it up just as soon as I could again.
Dakota Kelly is a girl with a serious past.  She has suffered through childhood family dysfunction, abuse, and much more. She has no idea how to get love through positive channels. As a result she has made many bad choices.  Except now, she has the Lord and a changed heart, but her past although forgiven by God has not been erased. She is always on the run from her past and because of that has returned full circle to a place she thought she would never go back to - Miller Creek.
It doesn't take long to run into the man she doesn't want to see, Chance Johnson. They have a past too.... but there is no way, under the circumstances, they can ever have a future together. Unless, God works a work of forgiveness in their hearts. But for that to happen, some things must come out in the open, secrets that have been kept, hurts that need healing, and what Dakota is running from. She has learned to trust no one, can she trust him?
In a Bridge Unbroken, angry words fly, deep emotions are addressed, and forgiveness is discussed endlessly. Cathy brings to light what it takes and means to forgive, how God forgave us, and what He expects from us. There is just enough romance, sparks, and mystery to keep you on the edge of your seat.  As you read, you will feel like part of the family as you meet characters such as Mama Beth, Andy, Matt, Grace, and more. And I guarantee, you won't put this book down until you have reached the final page. It will leave you longing for more.
I have not read Cathy's other books in the Miller Creek Series, but I can guarantee you I will be reading them soon.

Awesomely, Cathy has volunteered to give away an e-copy of this book to one of my readers. Just enter the giveaway below by email or Facebook for a chance to win. Must be 18 to enter. Winner will be chosen June 30th.
