I received this book courtesy of BookFun in exchange for my honest opinion. I am not required to give a positive review.
 My Thoughts:
It took me a little while to read this book, not because the book is hard to read, but because there is so much info to process. And when I read these types of books, I enjoy taking notes, as well as applying things to my life.
Carol's book speaks to the heart of the matter - Living the abundant life God offers. Although not always easy, she gives a plan on how to accomplish that. This book has great lessons on Love, Self-discipline, Worship, Peace, and living the Bible as daily reality.
Some of the things that spoke to me through this book
"It's not so much about seeing the good stuff or the bad stuff, but its completely about seeing God stuff."
Peace - It is not something one should pray for, but in reality peace is a by-product of complete trust in the Lord and in His character. Rather than begging for peace, a wiser choice would be worship and then anticipate what is given you in return.
The abundant life is a promise, but does not come easily.  Trials, learning Patience, Trust, Giving, finding Joy - all these things come into play. Carol relates a story in each chapter about someone who found abundant life. Those stories usually include suffering and pain - yet in the end, God worked through the situation to the reaping of abundant life.
If you desire something more than the ordinary. This book is for you. I would highly recommend it.
