I received this Bible from Book Look Blogger Program and Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own and no other compensation has been given.

My Thoughts:
If you are not familiar with the Duck Dynasty Series on A&E then maybe you haven't met Phil and Al Robertson. Phil is the family Patriarch and Al is the oldest child - also an ordained minister. Phil lived a pretty rough life before Jesus found him/ or he found Jesus - personally I don't think you have one with out the other. Phil is very vocal about his beliefs and is always witnessing and talking about Jesus.

I really enjoyed this Bible. Although the Bible itself is NKJV - a version you may even already have, all through it there are articles that Phil and Alan have written about personal experiences related to passages of Scripture. Their main focus is Faith, Family, Fellowship, Forgiveness and Freedom. It is so interesting and encouraging to see that so many people, even so called celebrities go through some of the same experiences we go through on a daily basis and even struggle with the same temptations and trials. Their advice is helpful and humorous.

So if you enjoy this family and their show, you are sure to enjoy the thoughts they have added to this Bible. If you haven't seen them, then take my recommendation and try it out! It is hard back, has topical index, well marked subject headings, references, and even free online Bible study tools.
