Peter's Perfect Prayer Place and *GIVEAWAY* - Ended

Winner - Alisha H.

Can you help Peter find the perfect place to pray?
Peter is used to seeing his mom pray in her special prayer room, and now you can help him search for his own place to pray—Peter’s perfect prayer place. Is it under his bed? Up in his tree house? Between the pots and pans? Where can God hear him best? There’s lots of fun as Peter looks and looks, but in the end, he learns that although it’s great to have a special place to be alone with God and pray, God hears you no matter where you are—under, up, or in between!
This companion book to the movie War Room will teach young readers an important lesson about talking to God. And the fold-out prayer chart and stickers in the back of the book will let them track their prayers as well as God’s answers!

My Thoughts:
I loved this book!! I can't brag on it enough. The authors did an amazing job creating a character with a desire to pray. Peter knows his mom has a special prayer place and he goes off on a search for his own. He looks high and low, in and out, trying to find that ideal spot to pray. While he doesn't necessarily define an exact location, what he does learn with the help of his parents, is that we can pray anywhere, any time, and God listens. And he even finds a pretty good spot for now.

What this teaches kids. God is everywhere. We can pray anywhere. And while it's good to have a place and a time to pray, God is always listening and he cares about us.

The back of the book contains a poster insert they can list their prayers and answers on, as well as stickers to go with it. The artist Daniel Fernandez did an amazing job on the illustrations. They are bright and colorful, full of life, perfect to grab kids attention. My daughter is seven, and even though this is probably meant to be for younger kids, she absolutely loved this book. She had me read it to her over and over. I can't wait to work on the prayer poster with her. This would me the perfect gift for any young child and a sweet memory for years to come.
