I wish you could see the sun peeking in my kitchen window on winter mornings. With the seasonal shift it comes up perfectly, right over the horizon and then shines directly in. God knows I need that!
I have a clear snowflake hanging in that window and when the light hits is just right, there are amazing prisms dancing all over my kitchen/ living room area. It's like the love of God is just overflowing and scattering all over.
Other things I did intentionally this past week were:
Can you tell I am just bursting with excitement over this new site?
I hope you took time to check out my newest page with my hand made items for sale. I haven't got many listed yet, but will be adding some here and there slowly. I am still working out a few kinks in the process.
We also have a great GIVEAWAY ending January 31 for the book Midnight on the Mississippi by Mary Ellis. So far we only have about four entries, so your chances are pretty good!

This week I took special time out of my schedule to focus on what my
INTENTIONAL
year is going to look like. (I hope) :-)
At least I did write down my goals and what I would like to achieve.
I also took time to
INTENTIONALLY
focus on prayer and studying of God's Word while participating in a week long fast with the SUMite Community. If you haven't heard of them, it's a community for the Spiritually Unequally Yoked. Authors Dineen and Lynn have written several books which are on my TBR list and I am hoping to get read this year. They are extremely supportive and encouraging to those whose spouses are not spiritually on the same plane.Other things I did intentionally this past week were:
- visit an elderly neighbor
- work on my sewing and business ideas
- spent some extra time with my hubby on his birthday
I also have fallen in "love" with the coolest website for a biliophile like myself. I found out about it through my local public library and have been using it a lot lately. It's amazing! It called R.E.A.D.S. I'm not sure, but I think it is available anywhere in the U.S., but since I have logged into my state, I can no longer select a different state for whatever reason. Anyhow... As I was saying, this is the coolest website, especially for education lovers and extreme readers. Plus you never have to remember to return you're book to the library. It is automatically removed at the end of the allotted time frame. have been on a audiobook kick. I do love to read, with a book in my hand, turning the pages, watching the words come to life, but when I am busy cleaning, sewing , or working on some other project and I can't be reading, listening to an audio book is so much fun!!
Last week I finished up
The Best Yes by Lisa Terkeurst
And I am almost finished listening to
Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury
