The Medallion by Cathy Golke Blog Tour and Giveaway

For fans of bestselling World War II fiction like Sarah’s Key and The Nightingale comes an illuminating tale of courage, sacrifice, and survival, about two couples whose lives are ravaged by Hitler’s mad war yet eventually redeemed through the fate of one little girl. Seemingly overnight, the German blitzkrieg of Warsaw in 1939 turns its streets to a war zone and shatters the life of each citizen—Polish, Jewish, or otherwise. Sophie Kumiega, a British bride working in the city’s library, awaits news of her husband, Janek, recently deployed with the Polish Air Force. Though Sophie is determined that she and the baby in her womb will stay safe, the days ahead will draw her into the plight of those around her, compelling her to help, whatever the danger.

Spread too Thin - Devotional By Ellen Miller

You know the drill. Somebody asks, “How are you?” and you respond automatically: “Crazy busy!” “I’m exhausted!” “Running too fast.” And it’s no wonder! Between the breakneck speed of your job, the one million family activities on the calendar, the volunteer luncheon you signed up to host, the growing to-do list on your phone, and the workout you’ve been meaning to get to for weeks—if you ever stopped long enough to think about it, you’d be curled up in the fetal position on the floor. Life these days. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers

New York Times  bestselling author Francine Rivers returns to her romance roots with this unexpected and redemptive love story, a probing tale that reminds us that mercy can shape even the most broken among us into an imperfect yet stunning masterpiece. A successful LA artist, Roman Velasco appears to have everything he could possibly want—money, women, fame. Only Grace Moore, his reluctant, newly hired personal assistant, knows how little he truly has. The demons of Roman’s past seem to echo through the halls of his empty mansion and out across his breathtaking Topanga Canyon view. But Grace doesn’t know how her boss secretly wrestles with those demons: by tagging buildings as the Bird, a notorious but unidentified graffiti artist—an alter ego that could destroy his career and land him in prison.

The Polygamist Daughter by Anna LeBaron

My father had thirteen wives and more than fifty children . . . This is the haunting memoir of Anna LeBaron, daughter of the notorious polygamist and murderer Ervil LeBaron. Ervil’s criminal activity kept Anna and her siblings constantly on the run from the FBI. Often starving, the children lived in a perpetual state of fear—and despite their numbers, Anna always felt alone. Would she ever find a place she truly belonged? Would she ever be anything other than the polygamist’s daughter?

Great Advice for Loving that Out-of-the-Box Kid

Nathan was different and Sally knew it. From his early childhood, Nathan was bursting with creativity  and  uncontainable energy, struggling not only with learning issues but also with anxiety and OCD. He saw the world through his own unique lens—one that often caused him to be labeled as “bad,” “troubled,” or someone in need of “fixing.”   Bravely choosing to listen to her motherly intuition rather than the loud voices of the world, Sally dared to believe that Nathan’s differences could be part of an intentional design from a loving Creator with a plan for his life. She trusted that the things that made him different were the very things that could make him great.

Great Family Devotional

This new devotional from Dr. Tony Evans and his son Jonathan Evans will provide both single and married parents with a resource tool to maximize those family devotional times, such as the dinner hour or bedtime.  The family virtues–based devotional provides 52 separate topics, one for each week of the year, and five devotionals within each topic that will guide devotional times Monday through Friday. This is a wonderful way to build a spiritually strong family week by week, day after day―a perfect way to head into the weekend. Topics range from the basics of the faith―such as salvation, spiritual warfare, prayer, forgiveness, and discipleship―to essentials of living as followers of Christ: money, prayer, family, friends, and priorities.  The subject matter is simplified so even young children can grasp important concepts. This is a perfect resource for busy families.

A Stunning Picture of the Creator Through the Lens of His Creation

I fell in love with this book the very day it came in the mail. The photo on this hardback book doesn't even begin to do justice to the interior photography and design. It is packed with the most amazing pictures of God's creation and little tidbits of information concerning each creature displayed. Hidden in My Heart Scripture Memory Bible ~ Review

If you have a child who loves music, you will love this Bible!!  This Bible is such a great encouragement for kids to memorize Scripture. The Bible itself is NLT New Living Translation but it includes 100 core Scriptures for memorization. These are printed within the Bible in key locations alongside the corresponding places in the Bible itself. They are written in three translations NLT, NIV, and KJV. They have been bordered in green to stand out, and some of those locations also have a devotional type application along with the verses. Each verse has a song that goes along with it which is accessible online using the code in the front of the Bible. Your child will be able to sing their way to Scripture memorization. Personally, I think this aspect is awesome, since at least one of my children learn best in song.

Girls Slimline Holy Bible

This Bible is a very nice attractive Bible for girls. With a beautiful cover of blue that has a velvety feel bound with glittery silver and the word LOVE in pink, it will be the pride of those who carry it. The back cover has a cruise and the words "bold faith". I got it for one of my granddaughters, but my daughter wanted one too after taking a look at it. It contains the entire Bible in the New Living Translation version. Although that is not my particularly favorite version of the Bible to read it is a bit easier to understand than some. I did read through some of my favorite passages to make sure the meaning was still clear.  For example Ephesians 2:8-9 reads like this: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Street God by Dimas Salaberrios

On the streets of New York, darkness and violence reigned. Dimas “Daylight” Salaberrios began selling drugs when he was eleven years old, and by sixteen he had served his first stint at the notorious Rikers Island prison. Dimas saw only one way to survive: by reigning over the streets. He would be the richest, most powerful ruler in the hood . . . or die trying. Street God  is the true story of one man’s dangerous journey through the underworld of crime, drugs, and almost certain death. It was an encounter with the real God that saved his life—and
