Many consider Evangeline Hamilton cursed. Orphaned at a young age and possessing a pair of mismatched eyes--one bright blue, the other dark brown--Eva has fought to find her way in a world that constantly rejects her. Only instead of finding a solitary ruthless gambler, he discovers a man not much older than himself with an unusual family. When Zach's sister, Evangeline, insists on dousing Logan with sunshine every time their paths cross, Logan finds his quest completely derailed. No Other One Will Do by Karen Witemeyer

She Trusts Him for the Job,  But Can She Trust Him With Her Heart? Loved this book!! Karen Witemeyer remains one of my favorite authors to read. The sense of humor incorporated in her books along with the spiritual just makes the book so worth the read.  Emma is the leader of a women's colony and very well respected. The women who live there have been abused, and used up by men and are ready to show the world they have stamina and can survive on their own! But a threat develops, and now the women are in danger. Emma feels a deep sense of responsibility as she tries to figure out what to do. In the end, she decides only One man will do. One she knows she can trust!

Stealing the Preacher by Karen Witemeyer - Review

If you enjoy a bit of humor coupled with a little romance and God's amazing grace, love, and forgiveness, you will enjoy this book. On his way to interview for a position at a church in the Piney Woods of Texas, Crockett Archer can scarcely believe it when he's forced off the train by a retired outlaw and presented to the man's daughter as the minister she requested for her birthday. Worried this unfortunate detour will ruin his chances of finally serving a congregation of his own, Crockett is determined to escape. But when he finally gets away, he's haunted by the memory of the young woman he left behind--a woman whose dreams now hinge on him. For months, Joanna Robbins prayed for a preacher. A man to breathe life back into the abandoned church at the heart of her community. A man to assist her in fulfilling a promise to her dying mother. A man to help her discover answers to the questions that have been on her heart for so long.
