Bibleman is at it again! In this cool flip book, you actually get two-for-one. How awesome is that. One of the stories, Dr. Fear's Almost Perfect Disastrous Day ,  is about Dr. Fear, who is busy spreading the seed of fear all over summer camp. Kids are becoming afraid of all sorts of things, and so is the camp staff. Bibleman, while out for a boat ride, senses the enemy and stops by the camp. He helps them overcome their fear by using Gods Word. I did find it a little interesting, that right after helping the camp crew conquer fear, Bibleman and his crew just about succumb to it themselves, when Dr. Fear plants a seed on their boat. I guess every super hero has his moments of weakness.

My son read the first book in the series several months ago and anxiously (impatiently) awaited the release of book two. Needless to say, he is already pestering me about when book three is coming out! That is how much he likes this series. So far this is one of his favorite series ever! Here is what he had to say... • "The book starts in Ahoratos with Rook saving one of Poneros prisoners [ Finn ] from the Fortress of Chaos. Then Xaiver, Evan, Brianna, and Levi get their shields and their helmets from Ruwach and fight the invisible Ents.  I liked that their shields could only activate when they had faith. I also liked that it had the original characters that were in the first book. My favorite character was Rook, because he was just awesome.  I was excited to read the first chapter in book 3 at the end, but now its even harder to wait until it comes out."

I gotta tell ya, at first I loved this Bible. I love reading God's Word, and I am also one of those people who loves to doodle. You will find me doodling as I take notes during services, and if I sit for long with a paper and pen, I will be doodling. So this Bible, to me, was right down my alley. I am also a note-taker, and most all of my Bibles over the years are highlighted, colored, written in the margins. There is rarely a "clean" page. I have been wanting to check out one of these Bibles for a long time. And given the opportunity, I jumped on it. There are enough illustrations in this Bible to last you a long time, close to two years if you colored a page a day. There are lines for note-taking, and space to make your own doodles or designs. The back contains bullet notes, a daily Bible reading plan, and a concordance. And the Holman Christian Standard is a version I enjoy reading. my design
