My Intentional Mondays

This week was full of birthday's around our house. My grandson had one. This is his Sonic cake I made by following the instructions on this blog. It was really not hard. My soon-to-be son-in-law had one, and my dad had one! Of course, they were not all on the same day, and my father lives quite a distance away so wasn't able to celebrate with him in person, but we enjoyed the ones that were close and communicated with the ones who weren't via modern technology!

The past couple of days I have spent outdoors enjoying the amazing spring like weather God has given us! It has been so beautiful!! I worked in my yard raking old leaves, and in my flower beds pulling up weeds, cleaning them out and getting ready for spring. (It will probably snow this week, LOL)

I have been trying to read, but the nice weather kind of put a glitch in the reading schedule. I also got a bit of sewing done and worked on some of the favors we are making for my daughter's wedding. More on those later. They are so cute!

I am currently reading Deadlock by DiAnn Mills.
Since I just started and haven't gotten too far in, I do not yet have much of an opinion. So far, it's ok!

I am also reading Charity's Cross by MaryLu Tyndall .This one kind of has me from the get-go. I really like it so far.

Other books I am working on getting through include:
Messed Up Men of the Bible

              and
52 Prayers for My Grandchild

Well, That's my update for the week. How did your week go? What good books are you reading or what hobbies have you been pursuing this past week?
Today, the kids and I will be listening to Holocaust survivor, Magda Herzberger speak. I am sure it will be extremely interesting.
Happy Leap Day!! These only come around every four years so enjoy it!!
