My Intentional Mondays

Wow! Can you believe it's April already? Wedding bells are in the air around here. I can hardly believe my daughter will be getting married in just a few weeks. We just had a wedding shower this past weekend. Ahhh... the bliss of young love. It's so sweet.

As I begin the second quarter of the year, I am re-evaluating my Intentional goals and how I am doing at achieving them. Some days are better than others. There are times when it feels like days, even weeks go by, and life "ran" me, instead of me running my life. Does it ever feel that way for you?

This week I will be reviewing two books about housekeeping and de-cluttering. Both these books have great insight and beneficial tips and information. I am most likely not the worst housekeeper in the world, but there is certainly much room for improvement. And I am especially thankful for those willing to share a bit of their secrets to success. I am planning on taking some much needed time off this summer from blogging and social media to spend with my family and do some very over-due work on my house. With my daughter moving into her new home, I don't think a much better opportunity could present itself. My son will be getting her room, so it will be a great time for some de-cluttering, as well as, some home improvement projects.

I won't be taking a complete break from reading in general, but I am going to focus on these books as well as several others and do some in depth study and application in several areas.

I am currently also wading knee deep in alterations. It is prom season and I usually get several dresses to hem out take in. I love looking at all the beautiful colors and styles. The girls always look so pretty in them. I am currently up to five and prom is in two weeks! YIKES!! Can you hear my machine motor humming...

My Intentional Living verse for the month of April is:
Ponder the path of thy feet and let all thy ways be established.
Proverbs 4:26
