Family Christian Review and $25 Certificate GIVEAWAY - Ended

Congratulations to our Winner - Terrill

Recently I was blessed with the opportunity to partner with Family Christian in giving away a $25 Gift Certificate Coupon to one of my readers. I am so excited about this!! I know you will be too, especially if you are the winner of that certificate.
I was able to enjoy a $25 shopping spree myself in exchange for telling you about my experience on Family Christian.com.

Family Christian is a Christian retailer, operating in 250 stores across the country. They are committed to helping you find, grow, share and celebrate your faith through a wide selection of Christian books, music, Bibles, DVD's gifts and more. When you shop with Family Christian, your purchases support their efforts to unite with ministries that are helping children and families in need around the world.

Here's a little insight about my experience with the online site and customer service:
I found Family Christian had lots to offer.  Since I received a promotional certificate I decided to spend it on some early Christmas shopping. It took me a while to make up my mind due to the variety of items Family Christian has to offer.
I finally selected the following items:
For my Son, because he loved the First book of Priscilla Shirer's Prince Warrior Series
This is the devotional that goes along with the Second book available for Pre-order.

For my Daughter, because she will be studying Pompeii in school this year and I thought this would be a fun read to go along with it. She really likes Imagination Station books from Focus on the Family.
Two Christmas movies for the family to watch together for less than the price of one?
Who could beat that deal - just $5.00!
Hurry up Christmas... Okay, just kidding really, but it will be fun to watch when it gets here.

And I got this CD of Christmas music just because my cart was not quite up to the $25 mark and to use the certificate coupon you have to have $25 in your cart!

At first, I got a bit frustrated trying to use the website. They have a lot to offer but when I attempted to use my certificate it kept changing my discounts. It literally took me hours to figure out what I wanted, put things in and take them out of my buggy and try to get my certificate to work with the sales. Thankfully I did this first, so all you have to do is follow my advice and it will save you time and money!

Family Christian is having an awesome BUY1 GET1 50% OFF deals going on right now, and they also have some really great Sale/Clearance deals. But this certificate works as a coupon code online, so when you try to use it, it overrides any other coupon codes in your cart even the B1G1 50% off deal (although that is a sale not a coupon code). I know... I know... right... technology can be tricky!
But... There is hope. After calling customer service, I did find out that if you have a store near you - you would be able to use the certificate in the store and still get the discount. If there are no local stores, you can call customer service with your order and they will be happy to assist you so you can get the ultimate deals for your money. You also will be required to pay shipping on what you order. The $25 code only applies to the merchandise in the cart. Still it's a great deal!

I have always had good experience with their customer service. They are very kind, ready and willing to work with you.  If you would like to check for a store near you just go to this link Store Locator. So don't miss out on entering the giveaway below for your own $25 coupon!! Check out their website today and start planning what you might want if you win.

Congratulations to our Winner - Lynne In  Night Night , Farm by Amy Parker, parents and little ones will unwind as sweet farm animals in pj's say goodnight to their farm, their mommies and daddies, and to God. Rhyming verse, calming artwork, and whimsical renditions of favorite farm animals in their cozy beds will make this bedtime book a favorite for years to come. My Thoughts: This book is so adorable. I am already loving that one day I will be able to use it with my grandchildren. It is a hard back padded type cover. The pages are board book style with beautiful illustrations, brightly colored and full of the most adorable farm animals you've ever seen. They will capture your heart, as well as you child's.  Each page consists of a different animal going to sleep, written in poetic style with the animal sound and name of the animal at then end of each prose. The last page affirms how God made all these animals and "me too"! The child will learn about ...

Winner: Heather S. You’ve got battles to fight—on your knees. The teen years can be tough; don’t try to make it through without one of your most powerful weapons—prayer. Each short chapter tackles one of the biggest questions teens have about prayer, questions such as: Why pray, anyway? What should I pray for? Are selfish prayers okay?Who should I pray for? Am I really supposed to pray for my enemies too? Will God listen? And will He answer? Just-right journaling prompts will then get you thinking—and praying—and reinforce the real power of fighting battles on your knees.
