My Intentional Monday

Well this past week, I spent quite a bit of intentional time cleaning out the clutter in my home. This is the time of year World's Longest Yard Sale runs through our area, and I decided to set up.
If you've never heard of it, you can check it out on the link above. It basically runs all the way from Addison, MI to Gadsden, Al.
So, I spent several days gathering up stuff we don't need anymore or use and getting ready to sell. For the most part it was an enjoyable experience. One of the things I really like about it, is meeting people from all over the country that travel the sale. It's fun to hear where they are from and where they are headed.

After the sale, we donated quite a bit of our leftovers to a local charity that helps people with house fires and other needs. Thankfully, that way all my work was not for naught, and I did not have to bring everything back home.

However due to the business of the week, I did not blog at all last week. And yesterday, my usual Monday update, I spent taking down my booth and putting things away, as well as, getting my home in order after being busy all weekend.

I have several books to review this week and am busy reading some more.
We are also preparing for the start of a new school year.

Family Christian is sponsoring a $25 certificate giveaway coming up next week on the blog, so keep your eyes open.
