I fell in love with this book the very day it came in the mail. The photo on this hardback book doesn't even begin to do justice to the interior photography and design. It is packed with the most amazing pictures of God's creation and little tidbits of information concerning each creature displayed.
It contains Scripture, songs, quotes and inspiring devotionals that will encourage and lift your spirit. I have enjoyed reading many of them and look forward to reading the rest. Every day Francine comes up with a great observations that come from the time she has spent considering the world around her. At the end of each day she gives a chance for reflection, application, and time to connect with God. The photographs
of nature included are just awe inspiring. They are scattered on almost every page in the book along with a lovely border on the edge of the pages.
This would make a great gift, or just an attractive coffee table centerpiece. It can be used as a devotional, or maybe just a pick-me-upper with your afternoon tea or coffee. I would highly recommend you get a copy of this for yourself and a friend! I would love to give some away at Christmas.
I was privileged to receive this book in exchange for my honest opinion from the Tyndale Blogger Program.

About the Author:
"New York Times" best-selling author Francine Rivers began her literary career at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English and journalism. From 1976 to 1985, she had a successful writing career in the general market, and her books were highly acclaimed by readers and reviewers. Although raised in a religious home, Francine did not truly encounter Christ until later in life, when she was already a wife, a mother of three, and an established romance novelist. Shortly after becoming a born-again Christian in 1986, Francine wrote "Redeeming Love" as her statement of faith. First published by Bantam Books and then re-released by Multnomah Publishers in the mid-1990s, this retelling of the biblical story of Gomer and Hosea, set during the time of the California Gold Rush, is now considered by many to be a classic work of Christian fiction. Since "Redeeming Love," Francine has published numerous novels with Christian themes—all best sellers—and she has continued to win both industry acclaim and reader loyalty around the globe. Francine and her husband, Rick, live in northern California and enjoy time spent with their three grown children and taking every opportunity to spoil their grandchildren. Francine uses her writing to draw closer to the Lord, and she desires that through her work she might worship and praise Jesus for all He has done and is doing in her life.
