66 Ways God Loves You by Jennifer Rothschild Including GIVEAWAY

God’s Word is many things—instructive, historical, poetic. Yet to Jennifer Rothschild, the Bible is also an incredible love letter. In 66 Ways God Loves You, she walks you through each of the sixty-six books of the Bible and shows, in concise and thoughtful ways, how every book reflects God’s love for each of us, such as:

In Genesis God fashions me with His hands.
In Esther He Makes me royalty
In Acts God’s Spirit comes to live in me.
In I Peter God gives me victory over suffering.

Each chapter includes a succinct, meaningful reading on the message of that book in the Bible, along with a simple takeaway to help you bring the message to light in your own heart and life.

Available on Amazon

My Thoughts:
A beautiful cover graces this (6"x7") hardback book that is filled with the love of God for you. With a total of 66 short devotionals to remind you how much He cares for you, Jennifer has really been able to encourage my heart.
When I first noticed this lovely book, it didn't dawn on my that 66 Ways was talking about one way from each of the 66 books of the Bible. Once I discovered that it made the book even more interesting to me.

This week I was reading another devotional in which the author spoke about Habakkuk the prophet and his prayer to God concerning the nation of Israel. I thought it would be interesting to see what Jennifer had to say about God's love in the book of Habakkuk. Jennifer's take - God Places Lowliness in High Places. In the book of Habakkuk, Israel was far from God and the prophet was broken hearted over their sinfulness. He approached God with the situation, but God's answer was not what He expected. Things were going to get worse before they got better. Yet, God changed his perspective and in the end Habakkuk exclaimed "yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!" He wasn't rejoicing because his problems changed, he rejoiced because his perspective changed.

Jennifer has mined the gold nuggets of God's love out of each book of the Bible and shared them with us. This is a great tool to encourage our hearts one day at a time or multiple times throughout the day. What a great gift this book would make!

I received a free copy of this book from Iconmedia to review. A positive review was not required and all opinions are my own.
