My Intentional Mondays

This is how I feel sometimes when I am writing on my blog.
I have spent most of the day putting in a comma and the rest of the day taking it out.

Well... the Thanksgiving holiday is over, and now the Countdown to Christmas has begun. Thankfully this weekend, I had two little helpers taking down my fall decor and putting up Christmas stuff. Our Thanksgiving holiday was nice, plenty of food, family and fun. We also participated in our town Christmas parade Saturday evening.

Yesterday was the first Sunday in Advent. For the past couple of years the kids and I have tried to do a little something during the Advent season. This year, I haven't decided for sure what we are going to do. I thought about using a book like last year's, Ishtar's Odyssey, except called Tabitha's Travels. But instead, we may listen to some Adventures in Odyssey audios since my son loves these and has been asking for their Countdown to Christmas CD. Yes... I know... I am a little behind getting started, but that's my life. For myself, I plan on reading some or all of the book by A.W. Tozer, From Heaven.

Ok, so I really don't do selfies 😏
I am so excited to recently have received an ARC copy of Kathi Lipp's latest book Overwhelmed and be on her launch team. I think the Lord just knew I needed this book!! It is incredible. 'Nough said for now! But much more to come!! Be on the lookout for deals on pre-orders. This book releases in January.

This should be a busy blog week, as I pretty much took the week off last week, so watch for cool book reviews coming up!

Hope you had a great holiday weekend. I would love to hear how all the Christmas preparations are coming. Are you finished shopping? Haven't started yet? Or maybe just somewhere in between? Doing anything for Advent season?

I didn't do black Friday shopping, but did you? If so, was it from the comfort of home, or did you get out and brave the crowds?

Leave me a comment and let me know how it went. Wishing you a week full of blessings as you prepare you r heart to celebrate Christmas.
