My Intentional Monday

Well, Christmas is over and a new year is soon to begin. Do you have any new years resolutions? I usually set a few goals but don't make many resolutions.
This is my Personal Manifesto, that I came up with while working through the book, Overwhelmed, by Kathi Lipp and Cheri Gregory. One of the things Kathi and Cheri suggest is to set the values you want to live by in advance, so when something comes up, you already know how you want to handle the situation. Check out this post on Kathi's website.  I printed my manifesto off and plan on framing it and hanging it up to remind me of the person I want to be.

How was your Christmas? Mine was really wonderful. I sewed Christmas gifts right up to the last minute... We had a house full of people, lots of fun and fellowship with family, and best of all we went together to the Christmas service at church to worship and celebrate the reason for the season - Jesus. It was really cool that Christmas fell on a Sunday this year.
Here's my Best Christmas Gift Ever (smile)
From my daughter who knows what I need and love - the practical things that I can use!!
I was soooo excited with my gift. And she also threw in a coffee pot (mine quit working before Thanksgiving) Of course, I got quite a few other things I really loved, but just having family around, spending time with my kids and grand kids would have been enough.

I have some things I would like to blog this week, but I still have a house full of people til New Years Day... So not sure how much I will actually get blogged.... Good intentions don't always pan out.
Hope you all have a wonderful week, and a safe and happy New Year's Celebration.
