My Thoughts:
Are you a creative person? Maybe you used to be but have lost some of your creativity. Probably the thing that really touched my heartstrings, about these books, was the background story that inspired the making of them. April explains that although she frequently created art for clients, her passion and creativity were at times squelched by the need to make a living. Hence, these books came about, after feeling like God was calling her to work towards creativity in her every day life, and not just under the pressures of a job. Being a creative person myself, I can relate to the constant pressure to create for others while not often doing creative things just for fun.
This book is a fun, worshipful way to release your creative side. It is designed to be used as a 6 week devotional experience, creatively expressing yourself to God; but it can also be used at your own pace. Although, it was written in a chronological manner, you can randomly select pages you would like to work on if that's what you want to do. Even if you are not an artist, per say, this book is for you, because it is about expression and worship, not perfection.
As you open the book there is an introduction page, a how to use it page, and a basic tips and materials page. April has equipped us with all we need to know, like lettering tips, borders, and other drawing ideas. This book can be an educational tool. When you get started the pages are pretty much drawn for you, and you use your creativity to enhance them. As you move through the book, April allows more open space for you to draw and create using your personal style.

Personally, I wouldn't consider myself an artist, although I enjoying drawing and doodling some. But this book is attractive and easy, and an awesome way to worship through art. I really like it. It would make a great gift, or for personal use. April has done an amazing job!

I received this book free courtesy of Litfuse Publicity group to review. I was not required to review positively and all opinions are my own.
