Meet the Author:

Dr. Linda Seger is a noted speaker and author and the founder of script consulting as a career. She has authored 13 books on various topics. She holds three M.A. degrees and has a broad religious background. She has encouraged the empowerment of women's wisdom for most of her life.

My Take:
This is a very small pocket size book that holds alot of insight and wisdom passed down through generations. Linda has compiled sayings from her mother, aunts, grandmother and even herself in the pages of this book.

They sayings are divided into categories, such as Children, Religion, Problems, each beginning with a beautiful illustration in a picture frame illustrated by Linda Crawford. To be honest, not very many of these sayings were familiar to me, so they must not have been the things my mom said. But they did make sense, although I cannot confirm that I agree with them all.

This book is a great start to get you thinking of your own favorite sayings that have been passed down through the years. It is a super quick read! What a great idea to pass those words of wisdom down to our children and future generations.

I received a copy from the author via The Book Club Network to review. All opinions are my own and I was not asked to review positively.
