My Thoughts:
What a cute book!! We, my daughter and I, loved it! We have actually read it several times. This is such a great incentive for kids who maybe struggle a little with the Monday morning blues. Getting up for school can be tough, as can be deciding on a talent for the talent show. But Alycat makes it look easy after her day takes a turn for the better. It starts off a bit gloomy, but soon Alycat finds her talent by helping another student perfect his.

I would recommend this book for any young child who enjoys a good story and singing! There are several lines of a blues song they made up, the kids can kind of sing along.

I was blessed with a copy of this book courtesy of ireadbooktours. I was not asked to review positively, and all opinions are my own.
