Spend Some Quality Time With Your Kids

Kids crave attention; moms need quiet. This side-by-side coloring book offers solutions for both! Each Scripture-based devotion features a therapeutic doodling opportunity for both parents andchildren. 112 pages, lay-flat softcover.

My Take:
It was so cool to read about how this coloring/devotional came about. A mom with an idea, an artist with a prayer, and God at work!

I am so excited to use this with my daughter who constantly demands mommy attention and hands on activities! This is the coolest. We can color with the book laid flat -  at the same time. The Bible verse on one side coincides with the short devotional on the
opposite page. One page is a bit more simply done, so the younger ones can color, while the other has more detail to be filled in. There are some truly beautiful verse and illustrations in this book. The pages are relatively thick so the color shouldn't bleed through, although my recommendation is colored pencils.

My daughter is ten, and I think that is the perfect age for this book. Maybe a little younger if they are artistic or love to color. This book could truly be something to treasure for years to come. I was impressed to see if even included one of my favorite verses: For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21. Includes over 50 double-sided devotionals.

I received this book courtesy of B&H Bloggers and Lifeway. I was not asked or required to give it a positive review. All opinions are my own.
