My Take:
When my son, who has recently gotten into Star Wars, saw this Bible, he was so excited! But a little disappointed after picking it up and glancing through it. Basically, he said, "This has nothing to do with Star Wars".

So there you have it! If that is what you are expecting when getting this Bible, you, or the person you are getting it for will be highly disappointed! But if you know in advance... That, that is not what you are getting, then you will likely be thrilled with the Bible itself, because it is pretty neat looking and contains alot of good content aside from the actual Scriptures in NIRV - New International Readers Version.

By the NIRV, you know it is a bit easier to read. There are quite a few full colorful pages with information on important words and what they mearn, creation, the Ten Commandments, passages of Scripture to remember such as Psalm 23, the Lord's Prayer, help verses, the Fruit of the Spirit and so much more. It has an outer space galaxy look and feel, full NIRV text, and a dictionary and other information in the back. Young readers will like this Bible as long as they know what to expect. The hardback form is very nice. This would certainly make a nice gift.

I received a free copy courtesy of Zondervan and Handlebar. I wasn't asked to review it in a positive manner. All opinions are my own.
