Thankful for Our Country's Heroes

Today is a day we celebrate those who gave their lives for our country. I have several relatives who were in the military.

A couple years ago, I was blessed with the chance to go to Arlington Cemetery. It is awe-inspiring to see the endless white, and realize all those people paid the price for our freedom. We enjoy prosperity, freedom, and so much more because of the dedication of these brave men and women! I just want to say THANKS!!

Take a minute today to be thankful for the gift of life, freedom, and a wonderful country.

Jesus also gave his life for us, so we could be free, from the burden of our sin, and have the opportunity to live with him for eternity. He paid the price for our freedom.

If you are following my blog, I have been very busy lately enjoying some time with my parents, whom I rarely get to see and be with. Yes, I do have some wonderful books to review, but nothing compares to one on one fellowship with those I love - even an amazing book.

So if you are an author, waiting on the review of your latest book... I am getting there... Slowly!!
If you are a reader, wondering what I am reading or what you should read next... Here are some of the books I am reading or planning on reading in the next few weeks. Several of these, I have already started and they are very good!! Can't wait to finish them up and tell you all about them.
