My Take:
I found this book to be helpful and interesting. As a 40+ woman, I think having a book like this when I was younger would have been pretty cool indeed. Some of the information is very basic - Making a bed, Opening the Door for Someone, and yet, there is a ton of information that is useful and important to know. Some girls are taught these things, maybe go to etiquette classes (which are not around like they used to be), but I know there are many girls who are likely never taught these things. Even the most simple things such as how to introduce someone, how to apply for a job, create a resume, dress for an interview. But not only does this book include tips on beauty, fashion, dating, friendship; it also includes tips on how to change a flat tire, parallel park, fix a hole in the wall, clear a clogged drain. This is seriously the go to book if you need quick information on most basic skills. It includes a list of all the tools you need and a step by step on how to carry it out.
I would highly recommend this book for teen and college age girls, and maybe even some adults like me.
