My Take:
My son read the book about David, and my daughter who is a bit younger than him began reading the book on Esther.
This is what my son had to say:
"Kingdom Files is a series that tells biblically accurate stories of some of the characters in the Bible in a way that kids can understand and enjoy. I read the story of David and found the story accurate (minus leaving out David and Bathsheba, but that made sense, since that was a more age mature story and it’s a kids book); the side notes were interesting, and the artwork nice. I think kids would find it entertaining and enjoy the layout of the book."

I also looked over the Esther book a bit myself before my daughter began reading it, and liked it. It makes the Bible stories come to life, and better helps kids understand the time periods, and country's customs surrounding the story, as well as, the characters themselves. I would recommend these books.

I received my books courtesy of Barbour Publishing, but was not asked or required to review positively. All opinions are "our" own.
