Beautiful Ellie Claire Journals

Faith and Lettering was probably my favorite of the three journals. I loved the look of the cover, the place to put your pen on the outside, and the room on the inner pages to be creative either in journaling or drawing. The pages contain verses and lettering and other tips for writing creatively. It is so pretty. It's a beautiful hard back with indented letters.

My next favorite was Illuminate Your Story. This one didn't have quite as much room to write as the Faith and Lettering, but it did have some really cool ways to make letters and do some drawings. It also includes inspirational quotes. This journal would be great for someone wanting to learn to write fancy letters and create a beautiful story. It has a matching ribbon bookmark and an elastic band on the outside that keeps the cover closed. I personally love the teal colors in this one. Great gift for any artist!

The Illustrated Word reminded me of those old family Bibles with the large fancy lettering and the churches with stained glass windows from centuries ago. It reminded me of art from ages ago. It really wasn't my favorite. There were pictures to color that matched artwork on the opposite pages, which also looked like it came out of the old family Bible. It also includes a few more modern coloring pages with verse designs. Overall it was OK, but not necessarily something i would purchase for myself. However, on the up side, this journal had a lot more space for writing, and I know there are those who would really enjoy this style.

All three of these journals are beautifully designed. They are hard back and seem to be sturdy made. They would make very nice gifts.

I received all of these journals courtesy of Ellie Claire and the publisher. I was not asked to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
