A Blackguard s Redemption is the third volume of 5 in the epic romance series The Caselli Family Series.

Eleven years have passed since Noah and Tillie s chance meeting. Tillie is married to Alex Martin, III. Noah has been a widower for the past five years, and has grown terribly lonely.
Giuseppe and Rosa conspired, along with their daughter-in-law, Tara, to keep Noah s identity a secret...but little did they know that Noah himself would reveal their deceptions to an unsuspecting Angel.
As Alex relocates his family to Rapid City, SD, Noah s heart returns to the desire of a love he s never forgotten. And while Alex grows in the limelight of politics, Angel s heart softens to another man.

Caught between a workaholic husband and a charming old flame, Tillie is torn between righteousness and desire.

Meet TaMara Hanscom:

Tamara long ago became one of my favorite authors. Not only did I fall in love with her books, but after becoming friends with her, I have come to admire the person that she is.

She was born and raised in South Dakota, and has a deep love for Italy and her colorful chronology.

Her favorite sport is baseball – Detroit Tigers – and she can’t wait until the next time she gets to see them play in Comerica Park.

She lives for the next family barbeque.

Tamara and her husband own a national pizza franchise in Iowa, where they currently reside. They have three grown children and one grandson.

She teach AWANA Cubbies and speak at women’s events, and writes Bible studies for her Sunday School Class.

My Thoughts:
This is probably one of the hardest books in the series to read, but trust me, you will want to read it. Why is it hard, because what you really want to happen, may not be end up happening. Because the answer isn't always an eye for an eye, or a tooth for a tooth. Sometimes, the answer is forgiveness, mercy, and long-suffering, and love. But not the love that lusts and is earthly, instead a heavenly love that comes from God.

I have to say, this book could stir some pretty strong emotions. It's easy to justify our actions when someone else's are worse than ours. It's easy to find excuses and reasons to get our way and assume that we are entitled to be happy. But what if the path God calls us to is hard, and the way difficult.

I've read this story three times. Each time it gets to me and I also learn something new. This book is worth the read, and has alot of food for thought on topics like divorce, separation, and loving the unlovable. It would make a great book for a book club discussion.

I received this book from the author and publisher. Positive reviews were not required. All opinions are my own.
