A Mysterious Identity

Adventurous Ellie Moore finds herself  jobless in the midst of a Chicago winter. In dire need of a way to support herself, she applies for a job with the Pinkerton Detective Agency. Although she has no previous detective skills, the company in a bit of a bind to find a woman agent agrees to hire her on a trial basis. Ellie travels off to Arizona disguised as an older widowed woman Lavinia. During the process of her investigation she is forced to alter her disguise to also accommodate Lavinia's young and vibrant niece Jesse Monroe. She becomes very fond of Steven Pierce the mine owner whose silver is being stolen. Playing two parts becomes a bit tricky and she is no longer safe from the silver thieves. What should she do?  Does she reveal her true identity, and if so is it too late for love? I really enjoyed this book. It was not easy to figure out who was stealing the silver. And although kind of obvious from the beginning that the mine owner would fall in lov...

YOU Need JESUS... Just Sayin'

People need Jesus! Neighbors, Friends, Co-workers, Students.... Everywhere we look there are those who are searching for answers. What can we offer?? The only answer to every problem any one has ever had. JESUS School is getting back in gear.  What better way to equip our children to share Jesus with their friends than to supply them with useful, attention getting, question asking, school supplies.  Dayspring has the most amazing collection of school supplies available as witnessing tools.  I received the     YOU NEED JESUS. I'M JUST SAYING   collection of binders, composition notebooks, folders, and spiral notebooks from Dayspring for review. I requested the blue and gold collection because those are the local school colors. My children are home schooled, but I want them to reach out to help others find Jesus.  I shared my collection with some new young girls who have recently moved here and started coming to church.  I do...

The Guest Book - Review and GIVEAWAY

On her last summer there, she drew a picture in the Guest Book and left a note. Would she ever return?  During her childhood Macy went to Sunset Beach every year with her family. After loosing a find-the-best-sea-shell contest one year her father comforted her by purchasing a set of colored pencils for her to draw a picture in the guest book since she has too young to write. Every year after that she corresponded with another artist by way of drawings. After her father passed away during her teen years, she went back to the guest house one more time. Because of all the memories of her time there with her father it was too much for her family so they left and never went back .... until now! Macy's life has changed dramatically, as has her mother's and brother's. In a sense this return is a kind of clo...
