Firewall by DiAnn Mills - A Review

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

After a whirlwind romance, Taryn Young is preparing to board a plane at Houston International Airport, bound for a dream honeymoon, when a bomb decimates the terminal. Injured but still alive, she awakens to discover her husband is missing and they’re both considered prime suspects in the attack. Further, the FBI is convinced her husband isn’t who he appears to be.
Agent Grayson Hall’s number-one priority is to catch those responsible for the day’s act of terror. All evidence is pointing to Taryn and her new husband. But his instinct tells him her pleas of innocence are genuine. Is her naiveté just for show, or could she truly be another victim of a master scheme, possibly linked to the software she recently developed for her company?
With both their lives and reputations on the line, and the media outcry for justice increasing with each passing minute, Taryn and Grayson have no choice but to trust one another . . . and pray they can uncover the truth before they become two more casualties.

This book was provided by Tyndale and TBCN in exchange for an unbiased opinion. I was not required to give a positive review.

My Thoughts:
Suspense, Romance, Conspiracy, Terrorism, and so much more will keep you reading til you are done! This book is full of life, action, and adventure beginning with page one! I was intrigued and hooked, although it could be quite intense at times and take a bit of a toll on my emotions as it rollercoastered up one hill and down the other twisting in crazy loops. As you near the end, the author has quite a few unexpected turns to throw at you, so be ready!

In this book Taryn Young is a software developer on a highly valuable program. She takes her work seriously and has noticed some suspicious activities at her company. Due to her suspicious, she disables the software until her return from her honeymoon, which never happens since the terminal she is in is bombed. Now, she is a top suspect along with her new husband who is missing. Before long, she realizes it is a tangled mess, and to save a life, she must do what she can to help untangle it. But will her efforts be enough? Who can she trust, and where can she turn?

I was impressed with the message in the book about salvation, living for God and making him a part of everyday life. Grayson is a Christian and seems to have a good relationship with God. You will often find him praying. Tayrn, thanks to her friend Claire, has head knowledge of God and goes to church on occasion, but due to some childhood issues, is not quite as in tune with God. Of course, after her life is turned upside down, she is quick to recognize the need for God's presence in every moment and decision.  There is a full cast of characters and it may take a little while to decipher who's who and what's what, but it's definitely worth it.

This is my first time reading DiAnn Mills, and I will without a doubt be seeking out books by her again in the future. I would recommend this book if you love a fast paced, page turning adventure.
