 My Take:
I loved the size, feel and style of this devotional, very masculine and appealing. It's perfect for your bedside table or to carry in the car. The feel of the cover is soft and leathery and the picture and letters are embossed. The devotionals were interesting and thought provoking. Most of them had one Scripture at the top of the devotional and then of course the thoughts to go along with it. The verses were from different versions of the Bible, not all consistent with the same one, such as AMPC, NLT, MES, and ESV.  The back contains a read through the Bible in a year plan, consisting of readings from the Old Ttestament, New Testament and Psalms  I am excited to have this to give to my husband this year for Christmas.
